OPENBCI V3 8bits board
Lab streaming layer is a system for synchronizing streaming data for real-time streaming, recording, and analysis of biodata. The
openbci_pylsl program uses Python to establish an LSL stream that can be received using scripts in Matlab. Follow the steps below to learn how to setup and begin using Matlab for real-time data analysis.
1. download the code and setpath to matlab
2. plugin the dongle
3. turn on the openbci borad
4. go to the folder and type : python openbci_matlab.py -p “COM3″
now you will see the connection is established
type : /start
now you will see the data streaming at at labstreaming.py
last we use the function vis_stream in matlab
you could see the realtime EEG signal is going on .
for vis_stream you have to make sure some parameter are filled correctly such as sampeling rate , I choose 250, since the 100 alwasy says the streaming lab channel not matched with labeled channels.
