from 3-7 April 2017, donders center has host the 2017 advance EEG and MEG analysis with filedtrip.

I was the one who has the opportinity to join in and there met lot of  neuronsciensist

the follow pic was taken at the front door of Donders centerat the fisrt day.



this lady was showing how to record EEG in Donders, no more special .



This guy was showing MEG device on how to record MEG signals which a very expensive device to record cleaner and accurate headmode than EEG.  I can not take the pic from the inter room, however  these machine has shown that it is not that easy to handle .



This guy was giving a lecture on time frequnecy analysis.

1. MEG and Filedtrip

How to generate the cuurent?

from one synapise to others synapise, the current and Filed are fenerated by the NA+

the current changes generate the Filed.

How to record the magnetic field?


Here we talk about the EEG and MEG, EEG past the current though the volume conduct which will be built druing the forward model then to be detected by the EEG sensor. MEG will record the small field generated by the current in the brain with the help of Liquid Helium -269 oC. for the sensor of the MEG, we have axial and planar gradometer. the difference bettween them are clear and obvious from the following pics:

Luckly in Magdeburg we have the MEG recording device since 2008, that’s lot of money, you know MEG is mucher expensive than fmri.
